NEW OR NOT, YOU BELONG HERE

A part of my soul…

Where dance and loss collide.

I didn’t grow up dancing my whole life, but in high school, I discovered how dance could say everything I couldn’t put into words. My mom always said “Kasia, you’re an incredible dancer!” Maybe my mom was being nice, maybe not. But I held onto it. She always told me, “Do what makes you happy.”

In college, I kept comparing myself to dancers who had years of training and thought I’d never be as good. But confidence doesn’t come from waiting around. One day, I finally told myself, “I’m going to be just as good, if not better, than those who’ve been dancing their whole life.”

In a world of black and white the sky has color.

My heart shattered when my mom passed away. She believed in me when I didn’t. She taught me that joy, not perfection, makes dance powerful. She reminded me I was enough. I didn’t move on with grief, but I did move forward. Though she didn’t see my dream come to life, I keep moving forward; carrying her with me, without letting go.

Dance is where I come as I am; raw, broken, full of feelings, with no one judging.

You don’t need years of experience, just the confidence to do what makes you happy.

My dance studio is a space where inspiration flows and confidence grows, no matter your age. Whether it’s your first dance class or your hundredth, let's build confidence together.
